Working Flexispaces & King Street ApartHotel
“We now have full visibility across our estate, stronger cyber protection aligned to recognised UK standards, and a trusted long-term security partner who understands the realities of operating a modern, multi-tenant building.”~ Neil Munday: Managing Director of NOMM Properties
Secure Nexus partnered with WorKing Flexispaces and King Street ApartHotel to deliver a secure, resilient IT and cybersecurity foundation for a modern mixed-use environment combining flexible workspaces and hospitality services. Operating within a shared infrastructure model, the organisation needed to securely support tenants, hotel guests, staff, and operational systems while maintaining strong separation, visibility, and performance.
Secure Nexus implemented a security-first managed platform built around Microsoft 365, identity-driven access control, segmented networking, and 24×7 monitoring. The solution introduced secure tenant isolation, advanced endpoint and email protection, and continuous threat detection through the Secure Nexus SOC, while supporting hybrid working and day-to-day operational continuity.
The result was a significantly strengthened security posture, improved operational visibility, reduced cyber risk, and a scalable architecture capable of supporting a growing multi-tenant environment without compromising guest experience or business operations.
Cunningham Engineering
“Secure Nexus provided exactly what we needed – a clear, security-first approach without adding complexity to our day-to-day operations, allowing the whole office to be linked and able to share required documents, also providing access to back-up systems, ensuring we can remain compliant with all our document storage.” ~ Clair Johnstone Operations Manager
Cunningham Engineering engaged Secure Nexus to modernise and secure its Microsoft 365 environment while improving resilience, data protection, and overall cybersecurity assurance. As a growing SME operating in the engineering and construction sector, the business required stronger security controls without increasing internal complexity or management overhead.
Secure Nexus delivered a security-first Microsoft 365 platform with hardened baseline configurations, multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, enhanced email protection, and cloud backup and recovery capabilities. The engagement also introduced phishing resilience and ongoing managed security oversight, helping the organisation improve both technical controls and user awareness.
The project provided Cunningham Engineering with a secure and reliable collaboration environment, reduced exposure to phishing and account compromise, and strengthened confidence in backup, recovery, and compliance readiness — all while maintaining operational simplicity for the business.
University of Dundee
“Secure Nexus have proved to be a valued and trusted partner in establishing and developing the University of Dundee’s approach to IT asset visibility and vulnerability management across our organisation. Forever mindful of our diverse and complex IT environment, Secure Nexus showed flexibility throughout and adapted to challenges as they emerged, working collaboratively to identify and implement solutions efficiently.” Bob McGregor, Head of Cyber Security, Digital & Technology Services
Secure Nexus worked with the University of Dundee to deliver continuous security assurance across a large and highly complex higher-education IT environment. Supporting thousands of assets, multiple campuses, and a mixture of legacy and modern systems, the university required greater visibility of vulnerabilities and real-world risk without disrupting critical teaching, research, or student services.
To achieve this, Secure Nexus implemented a layered assessment capability combining continuous vulnerability scanning, network discovery, configuration assessment, and automated penetration testing. The approach provided the university with continuous visibility of security exposure while validating exploitability through controlled, real-world testing techniques.
By combining technical depth with an assurance-led delivery model, Secure Nexus helped the University of Dundee improve risk prioritisation, strengthen governance and audit readiness, and gain a clearer understanding of vulnerabilities across its evolving network estate, all while preserving the stability and availability of mission-critical services.
